INDICASAT AIP | Panama

INDICASAT AIP stands for the acronym of its name in Spanish which could be translated as “Institute of Scientific Investigations and Technology Services-A Public Interest Association”.

INDICASAT AIP was created in 2002 by the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT) to promote the development of science in Panama based on the assumption that the scientific development of a country contributes significantly to its economical and sociocultural development.

Our goal is to establish INDICASAT AIP as a center for excellence that will serve as a launching site for the scientific and technological advance of the country by contributing to the training of a highly skilled human resource in areas recognized as a priority for the country.

We envision the Institute as a high profile organization with international recognition in the field of biosciences, serving as a reference point and as a technology transfer hub for other neighboring countries, especially those of Latin America.

Welcome to INDICASAT AIP
